Northern Scott

Northern Scott of Riverhead died Aug. 11 at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 81 and was born April 2, 1935. 

Mr. Scott worked as a machine operator with Local 1298.

Predeceased by sons Terrance and Marvin, Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (née Taylor); his children Keith, of Alabama, Paula, of Riverhead and Craig, of Shirley; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a funeral service will immediately follow. Cremation will be private.
